Travel experts say “the recession could be partly responsible for an increase in the number of domestic holidays taken by Britons which has reignited interest in traditional seaside holidays.” This we believe will escalate due to the Icelandic Volcanic Ash syndrome which is making people rethink and re-plan their holidays. People are either holidaying in the UK which is now called The Staycation! (horribleword!) or driving to the Continent.
