Buckingham Palace State Rooms open to visitors

Buckingham Palace is within walking distance of B+B Belgravia and Studios@82. The State Rooms open to visitors during August and September when The Queen makes her annual visit to Scotland. The State Rooms form the heart of the working palace and are lavishly furnished with some of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection – paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens, Poussin and Canaletto; sculpture by Canova; exquisite examples of Sèvres porcelain; and some of the finest English and French furniture. Exhibition runs from 23 July to 3 October 2011 and is open 10am to 5.30pm every day (last admission 4:30pm). Ticket prices: adult £6.50, over 60/student £5.00, under 17 £3.00, family (2 adults & 3 under 17s) £16.00, under 5 free. Advance tickets call 020 7321 2233.

Westminster Abbey Garden Party

Enjoy this annual Garden Party in the beautiful surroundings of the College Garden, Westminster Abbey by kind permission of the Dean & Chapter of Westminster.
